$13.5 million settlement following industrial accident

A $13.5 million settlement has been reached on behalf of a 27-year-old man injured while working at an industrial site. Attorney William M. Bloss represented the injured worker and negotiated the settlement.

The man was severely hurt when an industrial cable snapped and equipment struck him in the face. He suffered multiple injuries including loss of vision in both eyes, multiple facial and skull fractures, loss of the sense of smell, partial loss of the sense of taste, and cervical knee and hand pain.

The settlement was reached in January, 2009.
